We are a small family run business based in London. At present and to help keep our prices low we are purely internet based and do not have a printed catalogue or a shop front for visitors
Ordering Online Online purchasing is available using our Shopping Cart. Once you have finished shopping you simple click the View Basket Button. You can then continue with your order by selecting postage and packing to give you the total of your order and click Checkout to provide us with your payment and delivery details.
Ordering By Email To order by email please email us the details of your order including the bead or findings description, quantitys, size and colour. Don't forget to also include your delivery details and a note indicating how you would like to pay for your order, PLEASE NOTE We do not recommend you send your credit/dedit card details via email, please see payment methods below for how to pay for your order.
Telephone Orders Please email us at orders@thebeadyshop.co.uk with a contact number, your name, order ref no and a suitable time in which you would like to be called, we will then call you back to take payment for your order.
Ordering By Post Postal orders can be made by printing off our Order Form and sending it to the address printed on the form.
For Oversea Customers We hope to be able to add shipping costs for European customers to our shopping cart soon. We do not accept orders outside European union at this time.
You can cancel your order at anytime by emailing us at orders@thebeadyshop.co.uk please don't forget to include your name and the order ref no ie.e Ref RC1234567.
If your items have already been despatched it is your responsibility to pay the correct postage to return your items, please obtain proof of posting from the post office.
We have a range of payment methods for paying for your order online as detailed below.
NEW Credit/Debit Cards with Paypal Pro With our newest payment method PayPal Pro can now pay using all major credit and debit cards by clicking this button, you do not need a PayPal account to make your payment using this method. You will be taken to a secure site to enter your credit/debit card details, none of this information is passed onto us it is processed by our merchant bank PayPal Pro. Once your payment has been accepted you will be sent a confirmation email that your order has been received and payed for.
Traditional PayPal This method of payment takes you to the secure PayPal website and although no account is now needed to process your payment with this method it is a preferred method for PayPal account holders

Credit/Debit Card Manual Swipe This method works in a simular way to PayPal Pro, you are taken to a secure site to enter your payment details, these details are then passed onto us. Once your order has been prepared we will use the details you have provided to take payment for your order. An advantage of this method is that you will not be charged for any out of stock or back ordered items. PLEASE NOTE We do not keep your credit/debit card details on file as part of the data protection act
We have a range of alternative payment methods if you prefer not to pay online
Credit/Debit card details by phone Please email us at orders@thebeadyshop.co.uk with a contact number, your name, order ref no and a suitable time in which you would like to be called, we will then call you back to take payment for your order. Once we have your payment details these are processed using our secure merchant bank PayPal Pro. Once your payment has been accepted you will be sent payment confirmation. PLEASE NOTE We do not keep your credit/debit card details on file as part of the data protection act, with each order made you will need to call with your credit/debit card details.
Cheque or Postal Order We accept cheques and postal orders for your order. Please make cheques and postal orders payable to MRS C LEWIS and send to the address at the bottom of this screen. In order to avoid refunds & credit notes for out of stock items, we recommend you write across the bottom of the cheque Not to exceed £...(the total cost of your goods) and leave the rest of your cheque unfilled. If you have placed your order online and selected cheques/postal orders as your choice of payment please include a printed copy of your order or the RC Ref number i.e RC1234567, to help us trace your order. Cheque and postal orders can take upto 4-5 days for payment to clear.
Bank Transfer Using your online banking or by popping into your local bank you can make your payment by bank transfer our details are as follows :

For UK customers All parcels are sent using first class royal mail. Our postage & packing charges are weight based and will be calculated for you by selecting First Class Royal Mail at checkout

We aim to despatch all orders placed before 12pm Mon-Fri on the same day. If you have placed your order over the weekend your order will be despatched the following Monday. Ocassionlly this can take a little longer if the quantity of orders we are processing is higher than normal.
All our parcels are sent via first class royal mail, occasionally items can take longer or be lost in the post, if you have not received your parcel 7 days from your order date (excluding weekends) please email us at orders@thebeadyshop.co.uk providing us with the following information your postal address and order ref number i.e RC1234567 and we can tell you when your parcel was despatched. PLEASE NOTE That royal mail does not consider items lost in the post till 15 days from the posting date. If you have still not received you parcel after this time we will do our upmost to trace your parcel for you by contacting royal mail to try and locate it for you.
Back orders can occur when customers are ordering at the same time, as the shopping cart is not given time to update the qty of stock that we have, that item will then be out of stock. These items will then be re-ordered in for you and despatched as soon as they arrive. Please allow 7-14 days for back ordered items, any longer and we will email you
Occasionally some items despite being on back order may be out of stock with our supplier, when this happens you will be refunded or sent a credit note/code accordingly. Alternatively you can email us at orders@thebeadyshop.co.uk quoting your ref no i.e RC1234567 and ask for an alternative item to be sent.
Alternatively if you have a credit note/code but would prefer your refund in payment please email us and we will be happy to do so.
If an item is found to be faulty, or is not the item you ordered, we will immediately replace it or refund your payment, occasionally this is done by issuing a credit note/code.
If the item is not faulty and your order has been correctly processed, we will exchange it or refund the price of the item (excluding postage and packing), provided that it is returned to the address on your invoice or below within 14 days, with its seal intact.
For your own protection, always obtain and retain proof of posting
Unfortunately we have had to increase some of our prices, this is due to increased prices in raw materials such as metals. Where possible we have tried to keep the increases to a minimum.
For hand made items such as lamp beads and some glass beads & gemstones the colours can vary from those shown in our pictures and ocasionally from batch to batch.
